The Mangold Group, CPAs, PC is a full
service public accounting firm specializing in complete outsourcing of your accounting

Our Management Team
Thomas Mangold, CPA
President
The firm is owned by Thomas Mangold, who personally oversees every engagement. The firm
was established in 1987 as a bookkeeping and computer services firm and provides services
to firms ranging in size from sole proprietorships to multi-million dollar, multiple
location manufacturers. The firm was licensed to practice public accounting in Texas in
1996, and as a professional corporation in 1998.
Thomas also spent over seven years in
accounting and management roles at one of the nations largest retailers, and two years at
one of the largest world-wide accounting and consulting firms after graduating from The
University of Texas in 1993.
Thomas is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Texas
Society of CPA’s, and the Austin Chapter of TSCPA.
Marlene Van Sickle
Manager
An experienced veteran of providing accounting and tax services
to clients, Marlene brings a wide range of experience to our staff
and to our clients. For more than 20 years she has worked with clients
of all sizes and industry types. She is proficient with multiple accounting
software applications, day-to-day accounting procedures, and state
and federal reporting requirements. In addition, Marlene has provided
clients with audit representation, tax planning, and IRS negotiations.
Marlene has managed several offices with responsibilities of hiring, training,
and supervising. Marlene's continued commitment to ongoing education
is evident as she accumulates CPE credits, certifications, and licenses.
Marlene is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Texas
Society of CPA’s, and the Austin Chapter of TSCPA.
